remembering those who have lost a loved one this year and grateful for what I have. Looking forward to some time with family and a peaceful start to the New Year.
{similar scone recipe here. I did not add walnuts or lavender, but added candied ginger to the top.}

ginger scone + coffee.
Did I ever leave a comment here telling you how much I love your blog? I don't remember. Well, let me tell you now: I love your blog. It's like a little place of peace in the middle of a lot of madness.
I hope you will enjoy wonderful holiday gatherings and indeed, a peaceful start of the new Year.
That Karin said!
NICE!!!
That looks incredible! Did you add the candied ginger before or after baking?
I added the ginger after baking when I put the glaze on. it would probably be amazing to add some chopped in the batter too!
That looks divine.
And I LOVE your mug.
Happy holidays!
look so sweet
information is good
I am in love with your photos! And your mug . . . can you share where it is from?
Looks lovely!
Megan, the mug is from the Mociun store.
I just love that your scones are triangles. Aussie scones are always round, I think I'm going to break out of the mould and try the North American way. Happy Christmas, thanks for the joy throughout the year.
