I discovered your blog yesterday. I have been holding out for today's breakfast! Your photos are lovely, the cups and crockery fantastic - breakfast has never been so inspiring.
love this photo, love the rustic feel of the breakfast... and it looks super delicious as well. i agree with Gillian, breakfast has never been o inspiring.
Jen, where are you from?...that you love grits so much. I'm from the South, and they're a staple here, but when I lived in Upstate New York (admittedly ages ago), I had to have grits care-packaged in. Do tell.
I love grits and eggs! My dh was sitting next to me and I said, "Doesn't this look so good?" And he said, "no". :-P Which is why, I don't make grits and eggs very often! But I do make them for myself every once in a while! Yummy!
I'm dying to try grits. They're a lot less common in the U.A.E. than the states. Looks a little like oatmeal but I'm guessing its a little more savoury? Heart runny egg big time <3

Ah, it's just calling out to be swirled together with the spoon or dunked into with some hunky bread.

Yummy! A favorite of mine too! (Grits are more like Polenta than Oatmeal -- and yes -- more savory!)
Honestly, I have never had an egg ON the grits. Especially runny. I will have to try this! sounds good. For breakfast or dinner. Thanks!
