a little break from breakfast...
I had mixed feelings about voting today. I didn't think it really mattered if I voted or not. Then I started to see all the coverage of what people were doing just to be able to vote: standing in long lines, voting by flashlight, etc. As I sat in my warm apartment with power, I knew there was no excuse for me not to vote. I am so lucky to live in a country where we do have a voice and are able to vote freely. I wish our country were not so divided on so many important issues, but at least I know I am making my choices heard. I even got a little teary at how nice the volunteers were and how everyone was so proud to be voting.
So, if you have not voted yet, there is still time. Get out there and do it!

Glad you changed your mind. Such a great right we have!

I struggled with whether or not to vote as well. In fact, I had made up my mind not to.
However, I received a guilt-full text from my Dad yesterday & couldn't argue with it. :)
So! I voted. I hope that it made a difference!

I'm glad you decided to vote, that's at the base of democracy, we should never forget that
Love you, Miss Causey. xo
well said! glad you got out and voted.
Good for you for voting! I don't know if our votes count anymore or not, but that's not going to stop me from doing it! It's my right as an American to do it, but I have to point something out to Mike. A lot of people don't know this, but we are actually not a democracy we were never meant to be that... America is actually a Republic... it's suppose to be anyway.
