This breakfast is inspired by some friends on a recent trip to Maine, perfect for a cooler summer morning: cooked oatmeal, greek yogurt, berries, honey, and whatever else you want to add {I added chia seeds and a few slivered almonds}.
Other things:
Did you see Heidi's post about Sara's upcoming cookbook? The recipe for fresh mint chip frozen yogurt looks so good!
Jen's inspiring post on a Southern roadtrip.
Lily's post about marriage + organizing your life.

I need to try some yogurt in my oatmeal. That thought never even occurred to me.
This means that I need to try chia seeds now. This breakfast sounds perfect right now.
yum!
One of my favorites- my husband makes the best oatmeal and there's nothing left but for me to enjoy;)

i love readying your blog everyday! it makes me so happy, almost as happy as breakfast :)

xo.
I'm reading your post as I'm eating Greek yogurt with blueberries...I'm starting to believe that it's becoming one of the staple American breakfast. Will it take over French toasts or even pancakes? Only time can tell...

That´s a lovely breakfast! :-)
Wow! That's totally delicious! The cooked oatmeal would add some mild flavor to it, but I think it would make it more delightful if you would add some glutinous rice to it, which would give the yoghurt a crunchy texture.
I actually just returned from Maine with a quart of blueberries! This is a perfect use for {some of} them!
I love the pictures!!
