Happy 2012! What a warm photo to begin the year with. My daughter surprised me with a breakfast tray this morning, which included a waffle made in our new waffle maker. We've been trying them with all sorts of toppings/accompaniments, and one of my favorites so far is warm pomegranate molasses - a nice juxtaposition of tangy & tart. Looking forward to another year of your gorgeous, creative breakfasts...
I planned on starting my new year off with waffles too. One ancient waffle maker and some waffle chips later, we started our new year with bacon pancakes instead. Not bad either.
