Gorge. Almond butter and date smoothie sounds so incredible. Also English Muffin? Up there in my top 10 breakfast favourites and Avocado and sea salt is so good too. I personally prefer your photos with the plate entirely in the photo but that's just opinion. What's the book in the corner? Love the pink pen :)

yes, shari! for the smoothie i just blended these ingredients, i did not really measure amounts, just experiment to your liking:
rice milk
dates (3 or 4 chopped)
1/2 banana
almond butter (about 1 or 2 Tbsp)
ice cubes
pinch of sea salt

Oooh...a date smoothie!? You must be from California? by the way, you've totally inspired me to eat more avocados...I've got a ton on my kitchen countertop that I've been smooshing onto bread for breakfast (and sometimes dinner).

Seriously, when are you opening up a breakfast joint? Avocado on toast is one of my faves; mine is similar. Good hearty bread toasted, avocado smashed with a bit of olive oil, kosher or sea salt and chili flakes. Avocado blows my mind. And thanks for the smoothie recipe:)

I've never heard of that combination for a smoothie! The english muffin looks delicious. And the place mat is lovely.

Interesting breakfast. I also enjoy your morning settings for this wonderful meal: today yellow circles on the placema and the yellow ground on the cards with same shape flowers. Art & breakfast, what a way to start the day.

Best wishes,
BarG
